We fell in love with the Birman Cat in the February, 1988, when we visited our 1st cat show in Villa Park, IL. The following August we went to The Sacred Cat of Burma show in Medina, OH and purchased a lovely 4 month old seal-point female birman - Melik Lothlorian (Leia), from Marilyn Rowley (Barmar). We were complete novices and do not recommend anyone else finding their 1st show/breeder the way we did. It is much smarter to go to many cat shows, learn about the breed, meet many breeders and decide what "look" you want to work with. We just got lucky !! Leia made a final at the first show  we took her to, and then 3 finals at the next show....we were hooked !!!

Over the years we have attended many CFA shows and have done quite well! We have one national winner, a number of regional winners and lots of grand champions and grand premiers.
